I guess most of you have heard about the development in our family today. Suzannah was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes this morning. We were sent to a pediatric endocrinologist in Tyler. They ran a lot of labs and determined that the earlier diagnosis was correct. We are going back tomorrow to sit and go over the logistics of the disease to find out about different foods and other things. Today we learned how to test her sugar levels in her blood(finger prick) and about giving shots. I gave one to Stace and she gave one to me. This is a routine that we will have to do at least four times a day for the rest of her life, or until they come up with a cure. We will let you guys know more as we find out. Please pray that Suzannah can quickly overcome the fear of getting these shots. That step will at least make things go a little smoother as we transition into this new life. Thanks for your prayers.
