Check Up

Vail Blue 2 months.


Katy had her check up yesterday and the doctor said she looked perfect. She weighed in at a hefty 13 lbs. She has grown two inches in length and 2 centimeters in her head size. I guess that is good. She is above average in everything. She got three shots and one oral vaccine. Matthew went with me so I left the room with Vail when the shot lady came in. Yes I am a chicken. Thankfully Matthew is my "knight in shining armor" and he saved the day again by being the brave one. Love that Man. Vail just wanted to play with the toys in the waiting room. This past weekend Matthew bought Vail a little pool and they played in it. She tells me sometimes she wants to go take a bath and points outside. I think she finally gets it is a swimming pool now. Precious. We had tons of fun with Nat and "Cah Cah". Although we do think Micah was the culprit of the "Rio Verde". But because we can't be sure he can come visit again sometime. Katy finally likes swinging in the swing mom got us. It now works magically when she is fussy! Hooray!! I have been trying to get a picture of Katy smiling but can't quite get a good one yet. Yesterday we went to have lunch with Matthew and Vail says " Mommy go eat Daddy?" I am pretty sure she meant eat with Daddy. Matthew's summer office shin dig is this weekend at Nashville Shores. It promises to be a fun day. Other than that we are glad to be getting well and unpacking boxes slowly. Maybe I will have them all unpacked before we move again. Can't wait to see everyone in July. Hurry home Bri!
