It has been a long time since our last post, so we have a few things to catch up on. Jack is driving, Suzannah started college, and Molly Beth joined the Navy. Seriously though, we have been pretty busy here in Longview. Stacey's folks finally sold their house after being on the market for 7 months. They have a contract on a house here in Longview. It is on 4 acres and has a pond full of fish. We need to have all of you over to enjoy a fish fry. In an attempt for a light-weight summer hairdo, Stacey took a trip to the Salon. I think it looks great, but she thinks it is the second worst haircut she has ever received. I tried to tell her, as we were getting ready to go to the wedding on Saturday, that nobody would notice that her hair was 1 inch shorter on one side. Not much has changed with me. I still love my job. That’s probably because I haven’t had to fire anyone lately. That looks like it may change tomorrow though. Christine stopped by on her way to her sister's house. We got pics of Jack and his cousin Beth Ann. We had a fun visit. Suzannah was in a wedding this past weekend. She was a flower girl. I think she really liked it. We are booking future weddings for her, so if you know of anyone who needs a flower girl just let us know. We are still trying to get adjusted to her new pump. It is heaven not having to give her shots all day, but her sugar has been consistently high lately. We are still trying to figure out the right dosages. Suzy-Q has a busy summer lined out. She had a soccer camp last week, golf lessons next week, and swimming and art lessons in July. Longview has a pretty diverse parks and rec program for really good prices. Molly Beth is busy too. She likes to entertain herself taking care of her baby dolls and harassing our dog. She loves the blow up pool in our back yard, anything edible, and some things non-edible. She keeps us in stitches though. Jack is growing like a weed. He weighed 12.5 lbs at Stacey's 6 week appointment. He is sleeping very well, cooing and smiling up a storm, and even laughing (mostly when he pees on himself.) Last, and certainly least, Sugar had surgery last week. Hopefully she will get these blooming stitches out soon. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks. I hope the Tennessee Neals will post some pictures, just so we will recognize Avery when we see her again. Anyway, hope all is well across this USofA (and China). Love to all.
