Painted Nails

Today for the first time I painted Vail's finger and toe nails. She was very excited and sat still the whole time I was painting. Then she just wanted to go show her Daddy and kept looking at them. It was so cute.

For Mother's Day last weekend Matthew gave me a cooking class (not what you all are thinking, he thinks I am a fabulous cook :)). It was called chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. You can guess what we were cooking with. It was so much fun and a very creative gift! Thanks Babe you are the bestest!! We made four different things: a chocolate ganache, some petite fours and also we covered some cornflakes in white chocolate which were awesome (can't remember what the other was called). It was a three hour long class and I had so much fun. On Sunday Matthew let me go and paint some pottery, which I love to do. Such a fun weekend!

Also Vail is a budding photographer. Here are a few pictures from her collection.:) She gets most everyone's heads in the pictures which is more than I can say for a lot of people.

Here are a few more random photos for those of you out there who like them....

This one is for Uncle Micah because he thinks it is so stinking precious.

Katy checking out the penguins at the zoo.

One of my favorite pictures of Vail because she has a "real" smile on her face.

Katy being so proud of herself for pooping on the potty. Don't get excited people it was a freak accident. :)

How fun to go to a chocolate cooking class, what a great gift! Good idea Matthew.

I love the look on Katy's face, she knows she did something really good on the potty, it is priceless.

Both girls are just so cute.

Love to all,
Aunt Cheri

What a great idea Matthew had. You married a good guy Jen! I loved how careful Vail was being about her painted nails. The photo of her naturally smiling...talk about adorable! I have to agree with Katy's Uncle Micah, that photo is precious. Your girls just make me smile!!

Matthew had the same look on his face when the first time he pooped on the potty. We just didn't have a camera.

I would love to take a cooking class like that! I might look into it here. I also just found a pottery place here to go to and I'm so excited to try it out. That was a great idea Matthew!
