The past few weeks....

Happy 8 year anniversary to us!! We went to a very nice steak restaurant and a hockey game. So much fun. Thanks to Michael and Brian for watching the girls and only losing our dog :) (don't worry we found him when we got home and he had a nice two hour romp outside)

Whose kid is this? Sometimes I look at Vail and think "she can't be mine she looks too much like a big kid. What happened to my little baby?" Almost daily she says to me "Mommy I am going to go to school all by myself when I am five. You have to stay home with Katy." Where is all that coming from?

Katy is trying to copy Vail. This is what she is constantly doing. Drives me crazier than it does Vail I think.

We went to my mom's for Thanksgiving and all of the brothers came too. We had a lot of fun hanging out and watching our kids play together. It was really nice to have everyone together. I miss those Texas Neals A LOT!! (wish we lived closer) We ate dinner at Aunt Donna's this year and there was plenty of food!! We ate it again the next day at Grandmother's. Billy spent the majority of that day in Grandmother's attic looking for a very specific Christmas tree and then a train that I am beginning to think she never really had. He did find some very interesting things up there. We also took family pictures the day after Thanksgiving and I thought they went off pretty well. We finished right before the rain started. We ended our time together by watching Christmas vacation and laughing at all the funny parts we had seen many times before like it was the first time we saw the movie.

Watching Daddy/Uncle Matty make waffles. He had a lot of helpers that day.

Decorating Grandmother's christmas tree.

Learning from the sewing master.

Decorating our tree at home. So far Katy has broken 3 ornaments. Only one of them was not fixable. Starting to rethink my idea to put them on the tree this year.

Love all the pictures. Vail is getting so big. So is Katy. Weren't they just born last week?? What happened. Even the photos of Jack made me do a double take.
Hope you have a great Christmas!

Jennifer, Mabry's Christmas dress is actually from Old Navy. They had it in a few different colors. Online I know they are practically sold out but I saw tons at the mall the other day. Then I just took some Christmas ribbon that I had and tied it around her waist and made a sash and then took a little piece and made the bow in her hair and hot glued it to a clip.

Jennifer I love all of your pictures. I also love the story about Vail wearing a sleevless nightgown. We are going through the same thing. Avery Caroline was wearing a ballerina tutu yesterday inside while it was 20 degrees outside, because she loves dresses so much. Little girls are funny. Your girls are precious and growing so fast.
