Dave Ramsey company picnic

A couple of weekends ago was Matthew's company spring picnic. Usually they have it at the local water park here but this year it was at a YMCA camp in town. Dave rented several inflatables, there was a zip line, a climbing wall, and not to mention good food. The forecast looked ominous. Nothing but rain for the entire picnic, but off we went. We arrived about 11:00 (not raining yet) and Vail immediately wanted to do the slide. We tried out the maze and the slide before it was time for lunch. Then when the majority of people were waiting in line for their food we took advantage of no people and tried out the blow up balls. After lunch we pretty much played on the inflatables and Matthew got to play a little bit of football. We all had so much fun. Especially the girls (of course). It only sprinkled once for about 5 minutes. Just enough to wet the slide and have to shut it down for about 10 minutes. I call that a miracle. Considering it had been raining for about a week and a half. It was an all around fun day. We shut the place down at 4:30. The girls were exhausted from going non-stop for 5 hours and took about a 20 minute nap in the car. Thanks so much Dave for a great day!

For your viewing pleasure:)

Katy coming out of the maze.

Vail going down the big slide for probably the 500th time.

They had those big blow up balls that you could get in and run around. This is Matthew showing Vail it is safe and fun. She wanted to do it, but she had to go by herself and wasn't so sure.

Making sure Daddy is ok in there.

This is Vail when she decided it was safe enough to try. She had to put her hands over her ears because the blower was loud.

Standing up...the ball is almost ready.

Off she goes...I was really proud of her for being so brave. Matthew said it was really hot in there. She had so much fun. Katy pretty much cried the entire time they were running around. I never could figure out if she wanted to do it too or if she was worried about them.

This was when we decided to just let them have fun in the mud. They loved it. I think everyone else thought we were crazy. I had come prepared with extra clothes. Hello people there was an 80% chance of rain that day!

Look at those crazy curls!

This one is for Grams :)

In case anyone is wondering...No baby yet!

Looks like you had lots of fun. Those big balls that Matthew and Vail went in remind me of zorbing. I have always wanted to zorb. Let them know I was jealous that they got to hang out in there, hot or not.
Love Katy's curls. Makes me think of Mabry and her wild curly hair. I remember you left me a comment once about being grateful for Mabry not having hair then because once she did I wouldn't like having to fix it all the time. You hit that nail right on the head.
