Micah is 6 1/2 weeks old now and for over a week he has been smiling at me. You know it is so hard to catch new baby smiles on camera. Finally today I got one. It is like every time I try he stops. I finally got smart and put the camera by the chair I am usually in. He is getting so big and I can't believe how much he has changed. He still likes to cry ( a lot) but the past three days have been better on that front so I am cautiously optimistic . Careful these next few pictures might just melt your heart.....

I've been having those days where I have felt like the worst mom in the entire world. Right now Katy is playing in her bed (pretty sure she isn't going to nap). She is playing with her dolls and yelling things that I pray she hasn't heard come out of my mouth (no obscenities).

know those days! There are days Riley will speak to her babies, and as I listen I worry that I sound that way at times. We remind her to be kind and love on them....Praying for you and thinking about you!

he is SOOOO cute!!!! i love those chubby cheeks! :) i can't wait to see him. that precious boy....don't you let him cry! (ha!)
as for katy...it's just a stage...at least that's what i tell myself on days like that. you are a great mom don't doubt it! ;)

OK seriously a week is too long for me to finally get to hold that handsome lil' prince. I need to hold him so bad!
