This is us in our seats on the plane ready to take off for Lihue. We were very excited. Then we ended up being delayed 3 hours because of technical plane problems. Better safe than sorry...right.
Day1 Poipu beach

Day 2. Crazy 8 mile hike that took us 7 hours. It was 2 miles up and down to a beach and then 2 miles to a waterfall. Then you got to do it all over again to get back. We were absolutely exhauseted.

Day 3. We decided to hang out at our hotel pool and then we went to a luau that night.

Day 4.. We went to Waimea Canyon, the coffee company and did a bit of shopping because it was a bit rainy for most of the day.
also matthew took a nap on this beach ;)
Day 5... We went on a 5 1/2 hour boat tour of the Napali Coast. It was my favorite day of the trip:)
Day 6 we went to see this light house and to hanalei bay beach..beautiful!
After this we rested up for two days then drove to MS for Thanksgiving. We had a great time see family and watching the kids play with cousins. We came home Saturday and were bit by the stomach bug. We are trying to quarantine ourselves in hopes of not spreading it to any of our friends here in Nashville. ;) I think we are almost in the clear....maybe

Looks like lots of fun for your two sweet love birds!!! :-) We missed you here but are glad you had lots of fun! Next time make it 5-7 days at the most please! :-)

Jennifer, just saw your post. It looks like y'all had a wonderful time. We are so sorry that we didn't get to see all of you during Thanksgiving. Just got a Christmas card from your mother. It was all of you except Brian. Just wishing you and your's A Very Merry Christmas! Love, Johnny and Carol
