Flurries

We've been having some snow flurries this afternoon. The grass is pretty much covered but nothing is really accumulating on the roads. Katy came home from school and the first thing she said to me was "mom did you know it was snowing?" (We are standing outside). "No, I didn't" I replied. "Look its in my hair" she said. We went to pick up Vail from school and I watched as she walked out of the building. Pure joy on her face as she started twirling in the snow. Her arms were outstretched and her mouth was open to catch any snowflakes that might fall in. They immediately wanted to go out and play when we got home. I have no gloves for them but they didn't care. We won't touch the snow with our hands they said. Micah didn't want to go out. He just watched from inside. Jed went and ran around like he was two instead of 10 1/2. Its amazing what a little dusting of snow will do.
