We went to the balloon fest on Friday night. It was fun but not very long. They started lighting the balloons at about 8:30 and we left around 9:15 I guess. There were some pretty balloons but I wanted to see some different shaped ones or something like that. I guess we would have to go to somewhere bigger than Bentonville, AR to see that. Vail enjoyed the balloons although she had more fun at the restaurant as you can see. We went to Kellie and Jeremy and Landon. Landon slept the entire time. What a slug. Not much else going on here. Matthew has a ton of homework so he is a bit stressed. We are getting new countertops on Thursday and Matthew has to rip out our old ones. Just one more thing for him to have to do. He is a trooper. Goodbye ugly yellow counters. I will post a before and after picture for those of you who don't know what they looked like before.

the balloon glow looked neat. longview has a big thing like that later in the summer. it's so neat b/c that day you see balloons in the sky all day. one year i used a whole role of film taking pictures off our balcony. the balloons were so neat! they were different shapes...like pirates and all sorts of neat things. just FYI, the pictures turn out a lot better if the balloons are on the ground...and a little closer than the ones i took pictures of. that whole role was wasted b/c all you could see were little black bubbles in the sky. oh well, live and learn:)
oh, i loved the pictures of vail at the restaurant. my dad calls molly beth "bugs" b/c of her big front teeth....i think vail could be bugs jr. but no worries, big teeth are a GREAT thing...once they grow into them:)
