It's official!

Well, we had our first "doctors" appointment. It was really more like a consultation to make sure we knew what we were getting into and vice versa. Anyway, it went well and we have decided to go for a home birth. We can fill you in on more details if you want them, but basically two midwives will come to our house upon labor, coach me through and deliver the baby. They will do all the doctor stuff and stay for two hours after the birth to make sure everyone is doing ok. If complications arise during the pregnancy we will switch to a doctor and if complications arise during labor we would go to the ER. Thankfully we are very close to the hospital. We have been praying about this and really feel a peace about it. Please continue to pray about it for us. It's not like we would be the only people in the history of the world not to deliver in a hospital, but in this day and age it's just not as common so it seems a little weird. Hope everyone is doing well and adjusting to their new living situations. We are all good. Suzannah has been loving school and being in her class has been such a blessing. Molly Beth is finally well so she is doing good too. We'll try to post some pictures this weekend.
Love to all.

ps-the midwives don't do sonos so I won't know how far along I am. she tried to hear the baby's heartbeat while we were there, but couldn't find it. maybe I'm not as far along as I thought? that would stink! we will go ahead and get a sono at about 26 weeks (how will we know...I don't know) to check everything out and affirm that we are having a boy:) so at that point we will find out the due date...crazy huh? so for now, it's sometime in April.
