2 year old vs. dog

So last night we were getting ready to go out and Jed was getting very excited because apparently he was under the impression he was going with us. When Matthew said "let's go" Jed turned around going full force and ran smack into Vail. All I saw was her on the ground. She was very upset. You know the cry where there is no breathing and you are waiting for the sound to come out. It was one of those. It was very obvious she was hurt. When she calmed down I asked her where she hurt and she pointed to here head and sure enough the beginnings of a beautiful bump were there. The first pic is from right after it happened and the other two are from today. Every now and then she will say "Jed hurt me" as if we couldn't tell by the lovely black mark on her head. I asked her when her birthday was and she got it right so I am pretty sure no brain damage was done.:)





On another note, today Katy did her first official crawl! YEAH KATY!! For whatever reason so far she has seen fit to skip the crawl stage and move directly to pulling up and cruising (which she has been doing for quite a while) and occasionally using the trusty old walker. She is pretty good at it. She has also started babbling finally. Yeah! I love the sound of her sweet voice. She has a doctor's appointment on Tuesday to see if she has gained any weight since her last appointment. She was in the 10th percentile and the doc wants to check her out. I am not worried about it at all because like her sister she seems to be a bottomless pit. She loves to eat anything and everything so far. A month ago she was just over 16lbs so we will see if she has gained since then.
