Kates has been having some rough days. The other day by about 6 I was done. Done with whining, stomping feet, crying for no reason, and lips sticking out. So I decided to give that girl a bubble bath. I figured sometimes I have rough days and just want to relax and have some quiet time in a nice warm bath. That is what she got. It worked wonders. She played and had fun for about 40 minutes. Then I got her out and the whining started up again. :( Seriously?! So plan B: On went the pjs, out came the books, and then off went the lights.
This was a couple of hours later.
I love to watch my children sleep. They looks so sweet and peaceful. Makes me want to crawl in bed and snuggle with them. Yes Vail is wearing a long sleeve nightgown when it was 100 degrees during the day. She insists she is cold. Maybe she is.

Precious :)
I wonder if it is the heat or something. Mabry has been prone to tantrums all week and I have reached my limit as far as the whine goes. I may try your bubble bath idea. Usually I just tell her I can't understand her when she whines and to go into another room until she can use her big girl voice.
I love your sleeping babies too! Can't wait to see you in a few weeks.
yes, my advice to moms that have had a hard day is to watch them sleeping. it erases the feelings from the day and fills you with all the goodness. i find myself watching them sleep a lot! ;)
oh, and i finally had to put their footy pjs in the shed b/c they kept finding them and insisting on wearing them!!!! silly kids and their long sleeves in summer...
