Finally...the beach

I know it has been 2 weeks since we got back from the beach but I literally feel like we have been really busy with getting into our new school groove. Plus this post is mostly pictures and it took me like 3 sittings to get them all uploaded. We had a wonderful time. We spent most of the time in the sand and water so if you get bored with sand and water pictures do not continue on.

We all had a very relaxing fun time with just our little family. Although there was no one there to build us an awesome sand castle (Uncle Ken). Vail did use her knowledge gained from Ken to try and build her own. It was destroyed by some little boy. No names will be said. The water was fabulous in the morning and then when we went out later after naps there were lots of jelly fish out. We also saw some dolphins (Vail may have yelled shark and given me a heart attack), sting rays, and lots of crabs.

Thanks to my wonderful, amazing, fabulous hubby! Without all his hard work this vacation wouldn't have been possible. Love you! Thanks for spoiling us every chance you get. :)

Popsicles.
The boy was always digging in that cooler. There wasn't even hardly anything in there he just like to be in EVERYTHING!

This girl was loving laying in the sand and having the waves roll over her. She is a girl after my own heart. Whatever you do don't tell her there is a crab in the water behind her because she will have a conniption and be out of that water faster than you can say Popsicle.

Our shade while we were on the beach.
We bought a delicious watermelon at a roadside stand on our way in and ate on it all week.

More popsicles :)

Playing games at night was probably one of their favorite things.
He just liked to mess up the girls cards and throw the animal balls.

Our house for the week. It was perfect. Just right for us.

One day we road the ferry and went into Gulf Shores. Trip was not complete without a stop in Souvenir City.

I think this is what she dreams of being...a fish.

Don't get nervous Grams and Jammie Matthew was sitting down. Katy got very brave after the first day and would walk out (to daddy) by herself.

Eating lunch.
He wanted to sit with his sisters at the bar. He would not sit on a pot to make himself taller.

Evening stroll.
He was definitely over it. Wanted his momma. What else is new...right?

He was falling down the little bank. Sitting there saying "help me" and we of course had to get a picture. Parents of the year..right here.

Vail loves loves to chase birds. Not sure why.
