So here is the story about this picture. I went to Vail's school for my first parent teacher conference. The entire time the teacher was telling me how wonderful Vail is I was thinking "am I really old enough to be at a parent/teacher conference?" Then as I was leaving I noticed the trees hanging on the wall outside the classroom. The class had read The Giving Tree and all the kids got to color a tree and on the inside write what trees give. All the trees had green leaves and brown trunks..all but one...Vail had colored a rainbow tree. I thought this was awesome.
Vail got her very own library card. She was so proud.
Look at this face. I took these pictures because he actually looks like he has long(er) hair.

awww, so nice to see my sweet nieces (most of them anyway :) and sweet nephew. thank you. i will consider that my fix for the week. ahem...
